Board of Supervisors Affirm Protecting the Rights of LGBTQ+ People

The resolution entitled, “Resolution Reaffirming the County’s Commitment to Protecting the Rights, Advancing Equity, and Ensuring the Wellbeing of LGBTQ+ Individuals and Women.” passed unanimously by the Board of Supervisors on January 26, 2025. The resolution presented by Supervisor Monica Martinez highlighted the importance of the county’s support of LGBTQ+ people and women, ensure that LGBTQ+ individuals have access to services that lead to happy and healthy lives, identify ongoing funding for these services, and reporting back to the Board about these recommended actions.
