SC Pride hosts free and paid events. The parade and festival are always free while events leading up to the parade may include a cost to cover expenses. SC Pride seeks to break even with each event, keeping the cost of events to a minimum.

Rob Darrow is coordinating the QSU for the Santa Cruz County Office of Education. All queer, trans and ally students from middle school to college are invited to join us. Our first project in September and October will be interviewing and recording queer elders in the county who have been part of the 50 years of SC Pride history. We hope many students will sign up to join us. The first meeting is on Saturday, September 21 from 11-3 and we’ll learn how to use iPads and microphones to do the interviews. Other meetings will be via Zoom on Tuesdays from 4-5:30. And our interview day will be on Saturday, October 19. Email: Robdarrow@SantaCruzPride.org



Monterey Peninsula Pride
The Parade will begin at 11:00am on Polk Street and will continue on toward Pearl Street, and down Alvarado Street. It will culminate at Custom House Plaza for the Celebration portion at 12:00pm. Bring the whole family to shop and eat from a variety of local vendors and enjoy a lineup of queer entertainers.
