Statement from Santa Cruz Pride

The Santa Cruz Pride organization is aware that there is an online petition circulating that appears to represent the Santa Cruz Pride organization.  We did not circulate nor endorse this petition or action.  As a nonprofit, Santa Cruz Pride does not endorse political candidates.  

Santa Cruz Pride’s mission is: To provide a platform that uplifts, celebrates, and increases the visibility of the LGBTQ+ community across Santa Cruz County by organizing the annual Santa Cruz Pride Parade and Festival, hosting other supportive community events, offering scholarship opportunities, and focusing on addressing local and state LGBTQ+ matters.

Our 2026 theme is: “Unite With Pride.” We continue to work with all organizations to support the local and broader LGBTQ+ community. All official communications from Santa Cruz Pride can be found on our website, social media and via our newsletter.
