Santa Cruz Pride is establishing the Queer Youth Emerging Leaders Scholarship. To establish the Scholarship at the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County (CFSCC), an initial deposit of $25,000 is needed. The Santa Cruz Pride Board agreed to contribute the first $10,000 for the scholarship and to dedicate 25% of annual net proceeds in August each year to provide ongoing funding for the scholarship. Santa Cruz Pride is reaching out to the community to fundraise the remaining $15,000 for the annual scholarship fund. All donations are tax deductible.
