Grand Marshals Announced

2016 Santa Cruz Pride is "Embracing the Generations"

Santa Cruz, California: Santa Cruz Pride is “Embracing the Generations” through another year of celebration and community gathering. A special emphasis was made this year to ensure that Santa Cruz Pride will be a multigenerational event, from a deliberate inclusion of youth members on the planning committee to the honoring of those who won the 2016 LGBTQ Lifetime Achievement Award on stage following the parade. The Grand Marshals this year are singer-guitarist and longtime community builder Patti Maxine and 2016 Queer Youth Leadership Award winner Adrian Viloria. (more)
